Dead Sara - "Weatherman"
Dead Sara is probably the most solid hard rock band around today. With a debut that has few flaws, Dead Sara bring the heat. With a vocalist like Emily Armstrong demanding your attention, you can’t ignore this band.
Diemonds - "Take On The Night"
And then there were Diemonds. Bringing the sleaze, Diemonds have sex appeal oozing from their pores. They were awesome when I saw them at the Whisky, destroying every song they played live. More Canadian business! Damn those Canucks, bringing the rawk.
—What We Came Here For
Damone - What We Came Here For.
I’m going to listen to nothing but women in rock today because that’s necessary. Damone is another band that should of stuck around. Noelle is doing her thing but she can’t top Damone.
I saw Damone open for Bullets and Octane and Valient Thorr. I had never heard them before that show. When my buddy and I saw them warm up, just hearing those amazing riffs, we both immediately decided to move front row for the show. We immediately head banged the whole time because they were amazing.
I miss this band. Too damn good!
Action City Blackout - "Red Shoes"
This band is so fucking awesome and I haven’t heard anything about them since this 2007 release. What a shame, considering they fucking rock harder than most bands around today. We need more female fronted rock like this. Why the fuck do they have to disappear on us?! They’re too damn good!
High Watt Crucifixers - "Kissing Concrete"
There isn’t enough High Watt Crucifixers on Tumblr, let alone enough balls to the wall punk n’ roll madness. Enjoy.
I’ve finished my Cheerleader jacket! So stoked to have it done finally. I may end up adding some studs to the front or doing some more stuff to it, but for now I’m incredibly pleased with the outcome.
So now I’ve got this jacket and a Cheerleader tattoo. I think I can say I am one of the biggest Kill Cheerleader fans in the world without hesitation.
Also, thanks Jer for the Cheerleader shirt that lead to this happening!
